Hi !

I’m Rebecca and I started painting Traditional Narrowboat Folk Roses in the summer of 2017. My boyfriend at the time and I had been renovating his old 1930s working narrowboat called Russia. Once the Back Cabin was finished and scumbled then I turned my hand to painting traditional canal roses in the Potteries style and now I can’t stop… !

I have always loved water and boats and the world of narrowboating caught me in it’s net from the moment I first stepped foot on one. I paint roses and castles on anything I can get my hands on and I have recently turned my hand to crocheting narrowboat lace in the old style too.
